You know those moments when you arrive home with little energy or motivation for slaving over an evening meal...here's the answer: the pizza caravan. If you've been to the south of France you'll have seen these caravans dotted round the villages cooking up home made, well sort of, pizzas on a wood stove. The pizzas are truly mouthwatering.
We've got two caravans in the village, Pizza Flam' and Pizza Joseph. We prefer La Flam' shown here, the base of their pizza is finer and it's not too heavy on the cheese; others swear by Joseph, I find his cheese too salty and my daughter likes Chouchou, a little further away, true, but the bases are wafer thin and crusty.
Restaurants do take away pizzas too but, somehow, against all logic or reason these caravans produce a tastier pizza...
