Fete de St Blaise: The Flower Child
Out of all the photos I took at the parade this was my favourite...just something about the child's expression. She's, or maybe he's, definitely not sure if dressing up in hippy gear and throwing flowers at strangers is all it's cracked up to be.
So do I, Angela, it gives me the same impression. For a long time, my son refused to be dressed up or made up. He didn't recognize him in this change. He was scared.
Your picture with its colors, the expression you caught is so vivid.

I fell in love on the portal. Trés belle!!!!!!!!!! Your parade photos are my favorites. I'm still adoring the one below this one.

I love the child's expression, too. He/she looks uncomfortable and perhaps dismayed by the entire affair.

Just adore this portrait, Angela. Well done. Your commentary on his expression has it just right. Perhaps also he's spotted the camera. Super.
This is very striking photo.
