Light and Shade.

I'm looking out into cloud, the sky is down round my shoulders and my hair is frizzing with the dampness of it all so when trying to decide on an image for today I went for bright and bold. This is Valbonne's alter ego, the modern part known as Sophia Antipolis, a high tech. business park that provides Valbonne with revenue and jobs..

Sounds like our weather most of the time. And sounds like my hair all of the time!

I'm glad you posted this sleek building. With all the old buildings CDP bloggers in Europe post, I almost forget that we're in the 21st century ;)

What struck me most about this picture was the beautiful blue sky. It's a very welcome sight on a cold day in Tennessee!

For modern I like ina a retro art almost art deco way. They have at least tried. Against that blue sky the image really pops. One for the vector art enthusiasts out there and me.

Really nice photograph. I have to say when you drive thru Sophia Antipolis it is all so beautifully laid out. I used to come every year to the plant fair which is somewhere in the middle. The play of shadows and those lines and the beautiful sky is very nice.
