Valbonne at Christmas

I had real problems yesterday; I got up early, posted my Sky Watch Friday photo and went calmly on with the day never once losing sight of the fact it was Friday. Except it wasn't...it was, of course, Saturday. What is shocking is the length of time it took me to realise. I always knew holidays were bad for me.

I was in Valbonne for the Christmas market on Christmas Eve. It's always a great place to pick up stocking fillers and quirky little gifts also at the end of the afternoon they hand out mulled wine which, of course, is simply not a reason for going..The animation for the day was these guys. I have absolutely no idea who they were or why they were dressed up in these colourful costumes but they blew on their whistles and banged on their drums all round the streets of the village and it got everyone tapping their feet and smiling..

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loses track of time. Interesting photos.

Pink! Great photos. I don't even know what day it is, and I won't until school starts after the New Year.

Angela don't make the mistake on the 31th of December! No need to wish An Happy New Year on the 1st of January at midnight! ; )
That's looks like a wonderful demostration . I love Christmas Markets too.

I came to look at your skywatch and found this lovely post. The term 'mummers' springs to mind, putting on a lot of mummery. May stem from mime and merrriment.
How so ever, they do seem very jolly.

Such fun! I love their costumes.

Everytime we've gone out this past week, the first thing I ask my husband is, "What day is it today?" You're not the only one whose sense of time has gone wack-o. But don't you love it? Means we're on vacation! :D

Oh I just called the Apple Store to beg forgiveness for missing my one to one appt. this morning. " Uh...it's tomorrow at 10:00 Virgnia, see you then!" I can't keep the days straight either.

These guys are too adorable in their cute pink outfits. Only in France.....

The holiday season is one big blur for me: too many parties, things to do, photos to post, places to go...I totally know what you've experienced! Lol
