Skywatch Friday

As we live on a hill facing mainly west we do get good sunsets. This one wasn't as dramatic as some but the neighbour's garden fire gave it a nice romantic look..if you don't mind the dioxins!

Go check out some great Sky Watch Friday photos here.

I think that's a great shot! Sure, the vivid red/orange/pink sunsets are spectacular, but this one has subtlety and a sense of deep peace. I love it!

OMG--it's already Skywatch Friday, and we haven't even dined and feasted for Thanksgiving over here on Maui! I'm glad I came to visit ya to remind myself! :-)

You might want to ask the neighbors to torch their yard more often. Nice effect for photos.

And I thought it was mist! I was going to say that it's such a romantic sky, but not with that smoke! ;)

You shouldn´t have told that!:) It looked so oddly foggy and mysterious.

What lovely blogs you have. Strangely enough I was just saying yesterday, in response to a "how are you?" that I could do with a fortnight in the south of France. That's not going to happen but it's been a treat to come here (I found you this morning through The Depp Effect) and enjoy your photos.

As long as the smoke didn't get in your eyes, the picture is great.
