Doorway
I just liked this doorway and the stone bench next to it. there was something about the colour of the stone and the light that attracted me to the scene..
And these candle-holders! If owners were friends of mine I would tell them to change their letter-box! Definitively not the style. You're right this doorway has a lot of class. Seems to be roman. They like technology too. Look at that little video camera. Maybe they get an eye on you making pictures?!
Oh Catherine, I didn't even see the camera! I cropped the original photo as I had half a shop front in there too and the candle holders and I think the camera were part of the shop...
I like it too. Very serene colors. Lamps or candleholders — whatever they are, they're pretty. Though like Catherine, I hope they'll change the mailbox. Wood or wrought-iron :)
Such a beautiful creamy coloured stone. I love it too. Adore that bench. I'm not sure that is a camera - think it's perhaps a light for the door? Most attractive.
I love it! It's a shame when technology and ugly mailboxes intrude, but that's life! The bench is quite delightful, and as you say, the light and the colours are what make the photo so lovely!

That bench is just marvelous! I love the texture of the stones. The whole shot is really well done, Angela!
#12 has a delightful entryway. And the light you caught just right.
