Brocante 2

In amongst a bunch of stalls selling the usual silverware, porcelain and old postcards an imaginative stall holder had laid out his lamps and chairs that had a definite 70s feel about them as if they were in a living room. It was an eye catching display especially this lamp but in the end I couldn't decide if I liked it because it was pleasing or simply because it was different...

I like it and am wondering if these shards of glass tinkle in the breeze, or are they static? Or am I seeing this photo right? Hmmmm.....

I wonder about the noise it would make too, but I would be afraid to touch it! They look like icicles! Very interesting, and unusual find! Neat!

I love it - the hanging glass part - but the circle of chrome at the top is a bit el cheapo. It's probably one of those things you could tart up a bit. What I do love is your photograph with that beautiful background.

Out on the patio, that would be the place for it, don't you think?

Surprisingly it wasn't made of glass but that thick plastic whose name escapes me. I couldn't decide how much I liked it though as Jilly pointed out the chrome ceiling rose was ugly. And yes I liked the background too..
