The Toy Shop

Valbonne village is packed with restaurants, estate agents and small specialist shops like this toy shop. It's been there for years selling interesting and beautiful toys...in fact we got to the point where I didn't dare bring my children into the village because they'd always find some small toy or gadget they couldn't possibly live without. I don't remember them selling cats in those days, though!

Ooh, even I'm tempted! I love that huge, colorful pinwheel!

I guess kitty wants to play too. ;)

Oh, and I haven't seen real iron toy cars in decades! That red fire truck is adorable! The only toy cars I see here nowadays are made of plastic. Yuck.

Love all the colors; the cat grounds everything.

Cute picture! This reminds me of our visit to a toy store in Durango, Colorado. The owner's cat was sitting perfectly still among some toys on the floor and when the cat moved, my daughter almost screamed because she thought it was a stuffed toy!

Grandmother's Heaven...except for the cat. You know how we are feeling about our kitty right now! HA
