Looking Towards Chateauneuf de Grasse

Built in a spiral around the church Chateauneuf de Grasse is another of the perched villages of the region. You had a peek of it in the Skywatch post. This is yet another peek. It's impossibly photogenic from a distance and while it's a pleasant enough place it doesn't really deliver the goods when you get closer. Sorry, Chateauneuf..
The house in the foreground is a rather unimaginative box type design but is redeemed by that lovely faded pink wash.

With that view, I think I could learn to love the little pink house. Is this the Grasse famous for perfumes?

Well, it's exactly my favourite type of house... I would happily move in and live there forever:))

I have a feeling that your definition of "doesn't deliver the goods" may be very different from mine, and that I'd find Chateauneuf very charming.

What I'd give to have a view like that from our home! But we'd have to move out of Metro Manila.

I wouldn't at all mind spending a summer is this "unimaginative box" type of a house!!
