The Dress Circle...

This has to be one of the best places to watch the race...at least if you don't mind seeing only the competitors' backs. I saw this woman at her window waiting for the start of yesterday's race. The building is actually a hotel that overlooks the main street on one side and the place on the other

Sounds like a fun race, and the woman's spot is just perfect. Charming hotel, and I like how there's a passage right underneath her room.

I'd like to be in that hotel room, race or no race. Great street scene. I'm enjoying both blogs; just hope that you can keep up the momentum since blogging is so time consuming.

Sun and light, warm colors, the South and its nice atmosphere...

Great photo with so much to see. I like the pretty flags that compliment the color of the hotel. The woman at the window adds so much. YOu could almost crop this one and just feature her with the flags and have a whole new feel to the scene.

Kate: I'm pleased you're enjoying them.Valbonne should be easier to keep going as it's nearer and though small usually has quite a lot going on. It's Nice that will be difficult especially now I've lost all my best photos.
Virginia: thanks for the suggestion. I had a go at cropping but the result was rather grainy. I'll try again later.

I love that hotel and the setting of the crowd of people.

I'm with Kate, get me to that hotel room. It's such a bisy image, really sums up the sense of how these amll places get over run with tourists like me.

Have you lost all Your Nice Images?
I may be able to help you there.
